Burlington Mary L. Ensign, 97, died Friday September 15, 2006 at Tendercare in Marshall, Michigan after a short illness. Mary moved here with her family from Ohio. After settling down with her husband Clesson and son Gerald, at the farm on 8 ½ mile road, she helped farm and milk cows until she retired. Mary attended the Union City Assembly of God Church. Surviving is her son Gerald (Ann) Ensign of Burlington, a granddaughter Mary (Edward) Ash of Athens, two great-grandsons Michael of Germany and Matthew of Burlington, and a host of nieces and family. Visitation: Sunday, September 17, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday September 18, 2006 at Spencer Family Funeral Home, Athens Michigan.
