Athens Ruth Parks – Claar, 86 of Athens passed away at her residence on June 10, 2007. Surviving are her husband Virgil, two sons, Jim (Loretta) Parks, Ron (Colleen) Parks both of Sherwood, a sister Phyllis Klein, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her previous husband Keith Parks. A Celebration Of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Union City with Pastor Dodge officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church.
